My name is Julius Abarra. I currently work as an iOS Developer at Lala App Philippines, Inc. I graduated from the Graduate School of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2018 with the degree of Master of Science in Information Technology. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Degree at Roosevelt College Cainta in 2008 (Magna Cum Laude). I worked as a Software Engineer Lead at Novare Technologies, Inc., deployed as a Senior iOS Developer to one of the biggest financial institutions in the country leading the iOS Team in building applications that run on iOS devices, such as mobile banking and mobile investment with financial literacy. I also worked as a Software Engineer focusing on iOS application development at Virtualidad, Inc. from 2015-2018. But before that, I served my undergraduate alma mater for 7 years holding different positions: Chairman of the Institute of Computer Studies (2013-2015), Coordinator of the Information Communication Technology Office (2012-2013), and a member of the Faculty of the Institute of Computer Studies (2008-2012). I am passionate about learning, especially in the area of iOS application development, and sharing what I have learned to others. I love watching movies, listening to classic songs, reading leadership and motivational books, travelling around the world, and playing with my cats.
